How to achieve precise quantity control with one-inch spray metering valve?

Why can a one-inch spray metering valve ensure consistent dosage every time?

In modern life, from perfumes, hair sprays to various medicinal sprays, one-inch spray metering valves are used everywhere. Every time we press the nozzle, the spray dose we get is almost the same. This stability is not accidental, but the result of precise design and scientific principles.

The core structure of the one-inch spray metering valve includes a valve, a metering chamber and a drive device. The metering chamber is the key to achieving precise dosage control. It has a fixed and precise volume, just like a precise small container. When we press the nozzle, the valve opens, and the pre-filled liquid in the metering chamber is squeezed out of the valve to form a spray under the action of the drive device (usually internal spring pressure or external air pressure). Since the volume of the metering chamber is fixed, the volume of liquid squeezed out each time is also consistent, thus ensuring the stability of each injection dose.

In addition, the sealing performance of the valve is also crucial. The high-quality one-inch spray metering valve uses special sealing materials and structural design. When not spraying, the valve can be tightly closed to prevent liquid leakage or gas from entering. In this way, the liquid in the metering chamber will not accidentally leak or mix with other substances, ensuring the accuracy of the dosage during the next spray.

From the manufacturing process point of view, the production process of one-inch spray metering valve requires extremely high dimensional accuracy and matching of each component. The volume of the metering chamber needs to be precisely processed and strictly tested, and the error is controlled within a very small range. At the same time, there are strict standards for the assembly of various components to ensure that the valve opening and closing stroke is fixed, and the amount of liquid squeezed out of the metering chamber each time it is pressed will not deviate due to problems such as loose components. It is these precise structural designs, excellent sealing performance and strict manufacturing processes that have jointly created the excellent performance of the one-inch spray metering valve with consistent injection dosage each time.

How to solve the common blockage problem of one-inch spray metering valve?

During the use of the one-inch spray metering valve, clogging is a common problem, which not only affects the user experience, but may also cause the product to not work properly. Understanding the cause of the clogging and taking targeted solutions can effectively extend the service life of the spray metering valve and ensure its normal operation.

There are many reasons why spray metering valves get clogged. The most common one is the precipitation of impurities in the liquid, especially for some spray products containing solid particles or easily crystallized ingredients. Over time, these substances will accumulate inside the valve or at the spray hole, eventually causing clogging. In addition, if the spray product is not used for a long time, the liquid components in it may evaporate, leaving a sticky residue, which will also clog the spray hole. In addition, foreign matter such as dust and dirt from the external environment entering the valve is also one of the reasons for clogging.

We can take different solutions to these blockages. For blockages caused by precipitation of impurities, you can shake the spray bottle thoroughly before use to evenly disperse the particles in the liquid and reduce the possibility of precipitation. If blockage has already occurred, you can try soaking the spray valve in warm water (note that the water temperature should not be too high to avoid damaging the components). After soaking for a while, take it out and repeatedly press the nozzle to flush out the impurities with the flushing effect of warm water.

For blockages caused by residues from liquid volatilization, the soaking method can also be used. Soak the spray valve in a suitable solvent, such as alcohol (for spray products that do not react with alcohol), and let the solvent dissolve the residue. After soaking, rinse with clean water and perform a pressure test until the spray returns to normal.

To prevent foreign matter from entering and causing blockage, the protective cap should be put on in time after use, and the spray bottle should not be placed in a dusty environment. If a small amount of foreign matter is found to have entered, a fine needle (such as an acupuncture needle) can be used to carefully clean the spray hole, but it must be done with extreme caution to avoid damaging the spray hole. In addition, regular maintenance and cleaning of the spray metering valve can also effectively prevent the occurrence of blockage problems. As long as we understand the cause of the blockage and take the correct solution, we can easily deal with the blockage problem of the one-inch spray metering valve.
